Holiday Chari-tree Auction!
You're invited to bid on tree-mendously decorated Christmas trees provided by local Franklin and Henry County charities between November 20th and December 15th. Highest bidders will be notified on December 20th that they’ve won! All money raised will go directly to the charity who decorated the trees to support their missions in helping our community.
Also on Thursday, December 7th at 6:30 pm join us at the Rocky Mount branch to rock around the Christmas trees, put your money where your merry is, and place your final bids!

At Stepping Stone Mission, their vision is simple: everyone, regardless of circumstances, deserves a hot meal daily. Stepping Stone is dedicated to eradicating hunger in Franklin County by providing free food to those facing hardship. Join them in empowering lives through nourishment.
The Police Department is responsible for patrol duties throughout the corporate limits, working with citizens in neighborhood watch programs, investigations of criminal activities, arresting criminal offenders, providing testimony in criminal trials, and issuing citations.
The Rocky Mount Police Department is devoted to the concept of community policing and encourages its officers to become involved in community activities and creating a forum of trust with businesses and neighborhood residents.
The Hospital Auxiliary of Martinsville & Henry County Inc
A not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting community wellness and education. All funds raised by the Auxiliary are transferred into established programs, providing patient support and assistance to those in our community who lack resources to maintain their health.
The Auxiliary supplies the Patient Care Fund for patients at Sovah Health in Martinsville. Through the Patient Care Fund, they provide assistance to patients in need of new medications emergently as well as durable medical equipment. The Patient Care Fund has also allowed them to grow their Heart Failure program by providing them the means to put the tools necessary for the management of the condition into the patient’s hands (scales, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeter, cups for monitoring fluids, and pill planners).
Step (Solutions That Empower People), Inc. is the designated community action agency for Franklin and Patrick Counties. Step also provides services in Bedford, Pittsylvania, and Henry Counties, as well as the cities of Matinsville and Danville. Step's focus includes Head Start and Early Head Start; Youth Services including LIFES Academy and Project Discovery; Senior Services including home-delivered meals and senior transportation; Housing Services including homeless prevention, rental assistance, and weatherization; and Tax Preparation assistance.
Their mission is to facilitate solutions that empower people to overcome their barriers to economic, educational, and developmental success within the communities they serve.
