All American Partners FCU members are invited to attend the 2024 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM. The meeting is a hybrid of in-person and via Zoom. Attendees will receive information on the credit union's performance and activities over the past year. APFCU has four board members up for re-election this year: Bryant Cohen,Harold Shoffner,Mickie Kelly, and Z. Villaseñor.
As a credit union member, you may also nominate members to serve on the Board of Directors. Nominating someone to serve on the Board requires signatures of one percent of the membership and must be accompanied by a statement from the nominee agreeing to the nomination and stating he/she will serve if elected. Those nominating someone else should send all information no later than February 3, 2024 to the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
As a reminder, there will be no nominations accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting. Attendees using the Zoom mobile app will be able to participate in polling, but those using a web browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) are unable to view or participate in polls.
Board Members Up for Re-Election – 2024 Annual Meeting
Since 2018, Bryant has been an instrumental Control Rooms Operator at Duke Energy, where he ensures the seamless operation of critical infrastructure. Bryant has been a devoted member of the American Partners Federal Credit Union since 1991. Through his long-standing association, he has exhibited unwavering commitment to the financial well-being of the community, promoting the Union's core values of trust and cooperation.
Bryant also serves as a dedicated board member of the Last Dons Non-Profit, where he actively contributes to uplifting the lives of those in need. As a Board Member of APFCU he is looking forward to helping shape the future of the Union and further empower its members to achieve financial success and prosperity.
Harold Shoffner is a charter member of Sears Piedmont Employees FCU (GCMDC FCU) and served as Treasurer for 19 years. Harold is a retiree from Sears after 47 years of service and he served on our Board of Directors from April 1995 to April 2022 and was our previous Board Vice Chairman. Harold returned to Board service in July 2023.
Mickie W. Kelly — Secretary
Mickie joined the Credit Union in 1979, soon after going to work for the American Tobacco Company. She served on the Supervisory Committee for 27 years, the last 5 as Chairman. Since that time Mickey has been on the Board of Directors and has served as the Secretary of the Board for the last 13 years.
Villaseñor is the SVP of Compliance & Internal Audit for a national mortgage lender. Previously, she was employed at a federal credit union as the SVP of Compliance. Z has over 25 years’ experience in the mortgage lending, credit union, and banking industries and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
