Barbara B. Childress
Barbara has served APFCU as a dedicated volunteer since 1980. She served as a member of the Supervisory Committee for 19 years, holding the position of Chairman for eight years. She was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1999. Barbara worked for the American Tobacco Company for a number of years and is currently employed by Eden Jewelry in Eden.  
Kenneth H. Ford - Chairman
Kinney Ford is founder and President/CEO of Credit Union Econometrics Group. In addition to his business interests, Kinney was appointed to the Board of Directors of American Partners Federal Credit Union in 1995 and now serves as Chairman. In 1999, he was elected Chairman and Managing Partner of Core Management Group, LLP, a CUSO owned by three North Carolina credit unions. Kinney spent 11 years with the North Carolina Credit Union Network, serving as Financial Management Consultant and Assistant Vice President Finance/Chief Economist. Before working in credit unions, Kinney worked for the Corps of Engineers at Ft. Belvoir, VA and as a Securities Broker for American Express. Kinney holds a BA in Business Management and a BA in Economics from NCSU. He holds a Certified League Executive designation from the University of Wisconsin and is a graduate of the Financial Management School at the University of Colorado. 

Helen P. Holt
Helen resides in Reidsville, NC and retired from American Tobacco Company in January 1989, after 42 years of service. She is a Charter Member of APFCU and has served on the Board of Directors since 1980, holding the title of Treasurer. She served as Recording Secretary for the TWIU Local 192 Union for 12 years. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church. 

Mickie W. Kelly
Mickie previously served on our supervisory committee for many years and served as chairperson for five years. She was a previous employee of American Tobacco Company.

 

Harold D. Shoffner – Vice Chairman
A charter member of GCMDC FCU (Sears Piedmont Employees FCU), Harold served them well as Treasurer for 19 years. He is a retiree from Sears after 47 years of service. Harold has served on the Board of Directors for American Partners Federal Credit Union since April 1995.
 

John T. McCollum
John had previously served on our Supervisory Committee in years past, but relocated to Macon, Georgia when American Tobacco closed. He has since retired and rejoined us in January of 2007.

Deborah S. Pryor - Chairperson 

John "JR" Cecil

John "JR" Cecil owns and operates two Liberty Tax Service   Franchises in Rockingham County. JR worked in banking  from 2005-2008 and then joined Truliant Federal Credit Union as a loan officer in 2009. He worked there until he opened his first Liberty Tax Office in January of 2011. Hegraduated Magna Cum Laude from High Point University with a BA in Business Finance in May of 2009. He also has an associate degree in Business Administration from GTCC. JR began serving on APFCU's Supervisory Committee in 2012.

Kevin S. Williams 
Kevin S. Williams is employed at Market America, Inc. as a  Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Compliance  Analyst / Operations Analyst. Kevin is instrumental in the  continuing improvement and sustainability of the total quality management program (TQM) at Market America, Inc. Prior to employment at Market America, Inc., Kevin was a Quality Consultant for a consulting firm which specialized in developing total quality management (TQM) programs for various industries
 
Kevin is currently serving a first term as a Commissioner for the Human Relations Commission for the City of Greensboro.  Kevin also serves on the Board of Directors for Bellwood Village, Inc, which is a home association located in Greensboro, NC where he is serving as Vice-President of the Association.
 
Kevin is actively involved in various community service projects in the metro-Greensboro area. Kevin’s involvement ranges from establishing a community supported agriculture initiative in Greensboro, NC in partnership with North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University and various non-profit and for profit organizations in the metro-Greensboro area to improving public education in Guilford County with his involvement as a volunteer with the Guilford Education Alliance.
